For the artists who work with us, Fakejoy is a way to market and sell creative designs in their purest form—from imagination, straight to the consumer's wardrobe. For people looking to express themselves with designs that aren't limited by market-driven seasonal trends, Fakejoy offers a high-quality, international fashion source you can't find anywhere else.

We created Fakejoy as a venue to introduce the talent, passions and varying styles of artists from around the world to a greater community who share similar interests. The idea driving Fakejoy is simple: The best art is that which is created with joy.

How did it all begin?

A group of friends, all professional designers, gathered after work one day to talk about the human need for self-expression. Someone noted that it's this need that drives artistic types to creative careers, but too often our best ideas are compromised by business clients, account teams and focus groups. The more we talked, the more we realized how we all spend considerable energy outside our careers to make time creating the things we love most.

We wanted to build a place where anyone could find these creations in their purest form – their fabricated happiness. Fakejoy was born: the place to find the most unique, personal apparel anywhere.

We all need “fakejoys” in our lives—they're the unbridled bursts of happiness that drive us through difficult times and inspire us during the good ones. Obviously there is no limit to the ways someone can experience this feeling. This website was created by a small group of friends as a way to share our fakejoy with you.
